The Kingsborough development is hosting a pre party to celebrate the official opening of The Warehouse - Roast, Tap, Brew; located in the heart of Kingsborough. With 8 beers ranging from Czech Pilzner through to Porter, including a gluten free beer from Wild Polly and Apple Thief Cider, as well as a selection of wines. The Warehouse will also host local artist Christopher Paul Tóth as he unveils his latest piece, a portrait of Raiders captain Jarrod Croker. Royal Australian Navy Officers and Sailors from HMAS Canberra (III) will exercise their right to Freedom of Entry with a formal parade. The parade will march up Bunda Street, along Northbourne Avenue and into London Circuit before being challenged in front of the Legislative Assembly. A Freedom of Entry is the most honourable distinction a city may bestow on a contingent of the Australian Defence Force and is celebrated with a ceremonial parade through the city streets.
