10 – Tuggeranong Bulldogs Charity Round

The Tuggeranong Bulldogs are hosting a community charity round to raise money for the Miracle Babies Foundation – supporting premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them. Keep an eye out for the ‘Bucket Shakers’ walking around or throw in a gold coin to have a turn in the Disco Dome jumping castle, to get your face painted or to participate in the Girls Only AFL Skills Clinic. A great day out with heaps of footy and lots of fun!

9 – Sri Lankan Food Fair

Enjoy the huge variety of traditional foods like Sri Lankan rice and curries, hoppers, koththu, biriyani, roti, dosai and finger foods like rolls, cutlets and samosas. A relaxed environment to try some delicious food and support the community by raising money to maintain the temple. Free tea and coffee!

8 – MoAD Superhero Masterclass

The perfect event for those with little ones who love wearing capes and helping people! This exciting event helps littlies discover their inner super hero by using recycled materials to design their own costume. Suitable for kids aged 5 and over with an accompanying adult.

6 – Skating At Festival

The open-air ice rink offers fun for the whole family with music, rides and delicious food! Ideal for people of all ages and skill levels. Parents can join the kids on the ice or watch from the sidelines with a hot coffee or snack from one of the vendors. For kids who need a bit of help, the world’s first ‘Kanga’ skate aid will help keep them balanced! A great school holiday activity.

5 – Gungahlin Eagles Charity Day

Help the Gungahlin Eagles Rugby Club raise money for Menslink at their annual charity day! There’ll be plenty of rugby games, a big raffle, auction of limited-edition jerseys and more! There’ll also be plenty of buckets going around for people to throw some cash into. Head along for some fun and help the club smash their $5,000 fundraising target!

4 – Telstra’s PlaySmart Program

A fun session designed to empower 12-16 year olds by providing important skills around cyber bullying and playing sport as part of a team. Raiders captain Jarrod Croker will share how being an elite athlete doesn’t make you immune from the power of bullies – online and offline – but through the support of their team, they are able to ignore the negativity. There’ll also be a one hour football skills session and a one hour cyber safety workshop with Project Rockit.

3 – EPIC Advanced Dog Sports Extravaganza

This three-day event includes three conformation shows and several dog sport activities – bringing together hundreds of dogs, owners and breeders from across Australia. They’ll all compete for the highly prized title of ‘Best in Show’. Dog enthusiasts and the public are welcome to head along to enjoy the entertainment and indoor/outdoor activities!

2 – Circus Winter Wonderland

The Kanga Cup is an annual calendar highlight for young footballers from Australia and around the world!
