10 – Fashion markets
If you’re wanting to update your wardrobe then there’s two events for you this weekend! The Canberra Fashion Market has every fashion item you can imagine – clothes, accessories, handbags, shoes and more! Or head over to the Three Sixty Fashion Market on Sunday to pick up some preloved items, with a focus on vintage, retro and handmade clothes.

9 – APIS Canberra International finals + Kids Tennis Day
Head to the Canberra Tennis Centre to watch the next generation of top tennis players in action at the APIS Canberra International semi-finals and finals! There’ll also be a free Kids Tennis Day on Saturday from 9-11am with a charity sausage sizzle, face painting, tennis sessions and a jumping castle!

8 – Canberra Spring 2017 Speed Cubing Competition
This will be a sight to see – check out the best speed cubers in action! Two time former World Rubiks Champion Feliks Zemdegs will be there – he has 112 world records, 171 continental records, 6 national records and can finish a Rubiks cube in 4.73 seconds! You can also meet 2017 Australian champion Jayden McNeill who’s the current Square1 World Champion!

7 – Garage Sales
There’s two big ones happening this weekend! Pick up some good quality second hand items like books, clothes, toys, stationary, jewellery, baby equipment, puzzles, sporting gear and more at the Charity Garage Sale. All proceeds help poor communities. There’s also the Kippax Monster Garage Sale, with thousands of bargains up for grabs! They’ll also have a jumping castle and morning tea.

6 – Canberra Vikings vs Perth Spirit
Cheer on Minor Premiers the Canberra Vikings as they fight for a spot in the NRC Grand Final, when they take on Perth Spirit at Viking Park! There’s a huge line-up of activities including a jumping castle, face painting, a free Canberra Vikings pack for those who enter before 5pm and entry for the kids to the field before the curtain raiser and after the main game.

4 – The Hills of Hall Spring Wine Festival
Six Hills of Hall Wineries will tantalise your senses with great food, music and of course, wine! The trail has expanded with each of the wineries releasing a new variety of white wine! 3 – UC Capitals vs Sydney Uni Flames

2 – Day of the Dead Fiesta

1 – Fetes
There’s plenty of fetes happening around Canberra this weekend – with one of the biggest being the Radford Fete! There’ll be something for everyone – rides, white elephant stalls, cupcake decorating, a raffle, car show, and entertainment by Radford’s Chamber Bands, Rock Bands, String Bands and Jazz Bands. The Radford Dance Academy dancers will also perform! Other fetes include Telopea’s La Grande Fete, the Yarralumla Primary School Festa Fantastica, the St Matthew’s School Fete and the Evatt Primary School Fete.
