7) Googong Community Garden Harvest Festival

The Googong Community Garden’s hosting a Harvest Festival to raise money to buy seeds and plant their autumn and winter crops! They grow produce to sell to the local community in a bid to get Googonians to eat more vegies and learn how to grow their own! You can buy produce like zucchinis, tomatoes, potatoes, corn, beans, peas, snow peas, lettuce and herbs! There’ll also be info sessions on propagating seeds, worm farming and what to plant now. Raffle prizes up for grabs too!

6) Summerfest

Check out Ginninderry’s family-friendly celebration of summer and local performing arts! Enjoy live music, dance and theatre performances from local artists Simone Penkethman, Ben Drysdale Band, Fan Dancers, PLAY The Dance Agency, Collective Theatre, With One Voice Ginninderry Choir and Twice the Spice. Take your own picnic or buy food and drinks there! Proceeds go to cancer patient support in the ACT.

4) Canberra 2018 Gourmet Walk

3) Tennis Carnivale

This is set to be a super fun afternoon with activities like ANZ Hotshots coaching for kids, Fitbit Cardio Tennis for adults, a speed serving competition, face painting, a BBQ, raffles and a DJ! 2) Festival of the Face

Head along for a day of fun, celebration, art making, magic and cake!
