8 – The Secret Life of Pets 2

The Secret Life of Pets 2 continues the story of Max and his pet friends – following their secret lives after their owners leave them for work or school each day. Max faces some major changes after his owner Katie gets married and now has a child named Liam. Meanwhile, Gidget tries to rescue Max’s favourite toy from a cat-packed apartment, and Snowball goes a mission to free a white tiger named Hu from a circus.

7 – Kulture Break’s fundraising expo – HOLLYWOOD

The expo will showcase dance performances from over 300 students across Kulture Break’s north and southside studios. Funds raised will support Kulture Break’s well-being and social inclusion initiatives with young people in Canberra. A broad range of genres will be performed, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, breakdance and more.

6 – Disney on Ice

Grab your mouse ears and get ready for the ultimate interactive event at Disney On Ice celebrates Mickey and Friends. See Moana on a high-seas adventure with demigod Maui. 5 – Netball Junior Championships

Help support Canberra’s keen young netballers at the 2019 Junior Championships! It brings together the best junior representatives from across the five netball districts in Canberra – Arawang, Belconnen, Canberra, South Canberra and Tuggeranong to compete across two-days. There’s food stalls on site.

4 – Goddess

A night of dance, song, performance, beauty, burlesque, variety, ballet, original music, comedy, drag, diversity, inclusion, art and visibility. This show seeks to challenge the perception of what makes a Goddess through the medium of performance. A highly entertaining show that showcases the talents of humans who embody Goddess energy inclusive of any gender, orientation and cultural background. Hosted by the up and coming Commercial Dance Troupe, the show includes group performances, local Canberra art scene fixtures, special interstate Guests and above all, a sense of Diversity and Inclusion.

3 – World Dachshund Day – Canberra

To celebrate World Dachshund Day which falls on June 22, the Canberra Dachshund Group will be holding a walk the day after, through the Parliamentary Triangle. They’ll be stopping at national institutions such as the Museum of Australian Democracy Sausages; the home of our Wienerminster System of Government, Parliament House and the Not-Very-High Court of Australia. There’ll also be an opportunity to raise funds for Dachshund Rescue Australia. Non dachshunds are also welcome and there’ll also be Dachshund themed cupcakes for sale!
