9 – City Walk Art Show

The large Art exhibit features amazing works by members of the Queanbeyan Arts Society. This year they have additional Crafters & Creatives showcasing and selling their handmade treasures! There’ll also be buskers, performances and activities for all ages. Check out what’s on show!

8 – Car events – National Morris Minor Rally, German Auto Day & All Holden Day

6 – Tennis Carnivale

Learn all about the great sport that is tennis! Try the latest Tennis Australia programs including ANZ Hot Shots and Cardio Tennis. 5 – ARF Calendar Launch

ACT Rescue & Foster’s 2019 calendar will be launched this weekend. It features dogs rescued from pounds and cared for by ARF volunteers. Many of the photographed stars will be at the launch with their new owners. The event’s supported by Beef & Barley who’ll donate $1 to ARF for every burger sold on the day. Meet the dogs, buy a burger and buy a calendar!

4 – Spring into Yass Valley

Yass awakens from its winter clumber as the warmer weather starts to set in, with a range of fabulous Spring events! 3- Canberra Moon Festival

The Canberra Moon Festival promises family fun and entertainment in celebration of one of Asia’s most important traditional festivals. Up to 60,000 visitors are expected over the 3 days! There’s a huge program with a Cosplay party and contest, an attempt to make Australia’s Biggest Mooncake, cultural performances, a talent show, ferris wheel, carnival games, pony rides, lantern making, clay crafts, international food and more!

2 – Canberra Times Fun Run

1 – Floriade 

Australia’s favourite Spring festival is back for another year and this one’s set to be bigger and better than ever! Visitors are invited to take a trip down memory lane as Floriade celebrates the best of pop culture. Key highlights include Nightfest which kicks off on the 26th, Greenhouse Workshops, Pialligo Urban Café, Dogs Day Out and of course, the huge array of stunning flowers. Nutie Donuts, who brought us Glownuts at Enlighten, are bringing a dessert paradise to Floriade – including their vegan cookie dough sundaes!
