7 – Lucy Sugerman in concert

Lucy Sugerman is returning to her roots as a songwriter after her stint on The Voice – and she’s performing her first headline show in Canberra this weekend! The 16-year-old will be supported by two of Canberra’s other fine singers – Amber Nichols and Sophie Edwards.

6 – PlayUP – The Right to Have an Opinion and Be Heard

Listening pods, a fuzzy felt wall and a Kindness Café are part of a new exhibition at the Museum of Australian Democracy! It’s the third iteration of the popular PlayUP exhibition at Old Parliament House. The all-new PlayUP explores Article 12 of the Convention – the right for children to have an opinion and for it to be listened to and taken seriously by adults. It’s a welcoming environment for families to learn about and take part in democratic processes through imagination, roleplay and discovery!

1 – The Commons Street Feast
