8 – Tanya Hennessy book signing

Former HIT104.7 breakfast announcer Tanya Hennessy is back in the capital to promote her first book – ‘Am I Doing This Right?’ The YouTube sensation will meet fans and sign copies of the book in Civic. MIX106.3 breakfast announcer Kristen Henry will host the event. Tanya’s YouTube videos have attracted millions of views, so her book is sure to be as equally relatable and hilarious!

6 – Winter Glass 2018

Winter Glass is a chance for kids and adults to explore the technical world of glass, from design to creation, in a relaxed setting. There’ll be demonstrations, talks, tours, workshops, winter markets, kid’s activities and an adults-only after-dark program! There’s something for everyone with a range of interactive classes for different age groups.  Head along for an afternoon of free entertainment or book ahead for one of the paid activities.

5 – Incredibles 2

A superhero film that kids young and old have been eagerly awaiting the release! It’s the sequel to 2004’s The Incredibles. The plot follows the Parr family as they attempt to put superheroes back in the spotlight while dealing with normal life, only to combat a new foe who seeks to turn the general public against all supers. Several of the original actors voice their characters, with some new voices too.

3 – Live screening of France vs Australia Soccer World Cup

Enjoy the big game at the Alliance Francaise de Canberra! There’ll be Petanque, table soccer and juggle tournaments for visitors to test their skills and challenge their friends. 2 – Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow

1 – A Pooch Affair

More than 1,000 dogs and 3,000 people are expected to flock to Exhibition Park for this ultimate doggie day out! The event will feature a Doggie Mall, demonstrations, a Tough Mutt Challenge, a Paws and Pose photo booth, High Tea with Dogs, a doggie pamper station, a Doggie Diner serving puppicinos, celebrity dog appearances, presentations on a range of pup-related topics, fun competitions and stacks of entertainment.
