Connect with others to help reduce stress and anxiety. Silence your mind and sit amongst likeminded individuals in a safe environment. How do you eye gaze? Find a partner and sit with them, let go of any expectations, be present, then move on to the next person. It can have deep therapeutic effects!

5 – Mount Stromlo Observatory Site Tour

Learn about one of Canberra’s oldest sites! Mt Stromlo Observatory has been carrying out astronomical observations for over 100 years. Learn about the history, the science, and the future of the Observatory.  Be sure to take a warm jacket!

2 – Lifeline Southside Bookfair

Get there early to check out the huge range of fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, pamphlets, sheet music, comics, maps, records, CDs, DVDs, games and puzzles! Saturday is Family Day with fun activities for the kids! Funds raised go to Lifeline Canberra’s crisis support service.
