9 – Calisthenics ACT Preliminary Teams Competition

Head along to Erindale Theatre to see what Calisthenics is all about! Watch the tinies, juniors, intermediates, sub-juniors and seniors in action with gymnastics, marching, singing, ballet and dance.

8 – Canberra District Wine Tasting

7 – Meet Patty Mills

Meet one of Canberra’s sports stars – Aussie basketballer and US San Antonio Spurs player, Patty Mills! Patty is a triple Olympian, the only Indigenous Australian to win an NBA championship and currently represents the Australian Boomers. He’s helped create a series of books called ‘Game Day’ which aim to inspire kids to achieve their goals through sport. Get an autograph and photo!

6 – Santa Speedo Shuffle

Dust off your speedos and join the Shuffle to help raise money for Canberrans living with cystic fibrosis. Join dozens of Santas as they descend on Lake Burley Griffin to run the western basin as many times as possible in 65 minutes. For those less daring, there’s also a 5km fun run. The event wraps up with a Christmas in July themed festival at the Southern Cross Yacht Club.

Treat yourself to a day out and empower the woman in you! 4 – Hart R8 for Hartley Indoor Cycle Challenge

Get your heart rate pumping during the 3 or 6 hour indoor cycle challenge! Your support will help children and adults with physical and complex disabilities in our community. Professional gym instructors will lead the fun filled sessions.

3 – Queanbeyan Christmas in July Market

Stock up for Christmas in July celebrations at the market in Queanbeyan! There’ll be Christmas food, gourmet treats, handmade Christmas gifts, a dog sledding demonstration, santa pet photos and more! Sip on mulled wine while you shop and get your goodies wrapped. There’ll also be lots of free entertainment and activities!

2 – The Winter Shnapps Fest

Head along to the Harmonie German Club to enjoy everything Bavarian like schnapps, german beer, wines, ciders, great winter food and entertainment from Canberra’s own world class accordionist Anton Wurzer!
