8 – Toddlers’ Prom – Kids & Family Concert

7 – Canberra Kids Market

There’ll be a huge range of goods on display with everything from clothes to cots, prams, bassinets, bikes, strollers, toys, and accessories galore. There’ll be around 100 stalls offering everything you need for the little ones!

6 – Mother’s Day Classic

Walk or run 5km or run 10km to help raise funds for breast cancer research. There’ll also be stacks of activities for kids and adults including warm-up aerobics, roving performers, a food court, free massages, a kids activity area, face painting, a jumping castle and more! There’ll also be coffee carts and a sausage sizzle! A great day out for a good cause.

5 – Canberra Royals Polocrosse Club Women’s Carnival

An action-packed event raising money for the Breast Cancer Network Australia and Ovarian Cancer Australia. It’s sure to be fun for the whole family – everyone is welcome. Compared to being rugby on horseback, this sport is great fun to watch! There’ll also be a fundraiser dinner and live music.

4 – Campbell 5 Community Festival

Head along to see the progress of the C5 precinct, help raise funds for Solider On and enjoy a glass of wine and wood-fired pizza. Yum! There’ll be heaps of family activities like face painting, live music, Kristen and Rod from MIX 106.3 will be there from 10am-1pm, as well as Brumbies players!

3 – Comedians at Canberra Theatre: Anh Do – The Happiest Refugee Live AND Akmal – Trial and Error

Comedian Anh Do brings his best-selling memoir ‘The Happiest Refugee’ to life in a moving stand-up show combining humour, real life stories, photos and filmed pieces. Accomplished comic Akmal also brings his new show to Canberra where he canvasses topics like his Arabic heritage, religion and immigration in his usual fresh and funny way!

2 – Motorcycle Blanket Run

The Blanket Run is an annual event to raise money and goods for those in need of support during winter. Organisers are calling for donations of new warm blankets, cash, non-perishable foods and used riding jackets for the Salvation Army. Families invited to watch riders depart and return to Parliament House. Food and drinks available.
