10 – Nerf Game at Stage 88

Head to Stage 88 for some fun in Human vs Zombie! Darts are supplied for a gold coin on the day and there’ll be limited blasters to borrow. There’ll also be pizza and drinks to keep you going for what’s sure to be an epic battle!

9 – Warm Trees at the Arboretum

Check out the largest installation of knitting and crochet on trees in the world, right here in Canberra! Hundreds of volunteers have created the large cherry blossoms, huge flowers and bright scarves that feature in various forests and in the Village Centre.

8 – Superhero Masterclass school holiday program

7 – Hall Markets

The Hartley Hall Markets are celebrating 30 years this weekend! Check out the huge range of local products like unique gifts, artwork, home baked goods, dog/cat beds and treats, plants, jewellery, fresh produce, woodwork, crafts and more. 6 – Flix’N Dickson Outdoor Movie Night

Celebrate Christmas in July at an outdoor family movie event! White Christmas will be screened and there’ll also be food stalls and music. The Dickson shopping square will be transformed into a magical white Christmas for the event with themed music and decorations. Bring a blanket, esky and comfy seating!

5 – Winter Dark Beer Festival

If you love your beers on the darker side, then this event is for you! Nine taps at the Durham will be dedicated to dark beers. Expect a bit of everything from a delicate coconut brown ale, to a coffee flavoured Porter, an easy drinking stout and a black India Pale Ale.

3 – The Forage

Make sure you head there with an empty belly as there’ll be heaps of local delicious goodies on offer. This event has its biggest line-up of food ever including stalls from Bombolini, Pialligo Estate and Lazy Su, to name a few. Keep warm by the fire pits while sipping mulled wine, enjoy live music and keep the kids entertained with a range of activities.

2 – Skating at Garema Place

1 –  Raiders vs Cowboys

Both clubs will be looking to secure a win as they start to make their run into the remaining rounds and hopefully an NRL finals appearance. It’ll be the 38th time the clubs have gone head to head – with many contests going right down to the wire. Our guys would love a strong home crowd!
