9 – Canberra Forest Cats All Breeds Cat Show

Meet impressive forest cats like the Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest, Siberian and other pedigreed cats including Burmese, Ragdoll, Bengal and Birman, all vying for Supreme Exhibit in Show! There is something for everyone at the show from watching the judging and meeting the cats and their owners.

8 – Tharwa Bush Fair

7 – BentSpoke Start of Spring Carnival

The BentSpoke Cannery is opening its doors to the public again for the Annual Start of Spring Carnival! Enjoy a free and interactive day while helping raise funds for the Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary – in honour of Threatened Species Day. There’ll be threatened species themed colouring in for kids, meet and greet with Brian the Bettong, a silent art auction, brewery tours, live music, delicious food, a 12-tap bar and more!

6 – Gunning Fireworks Festival

Experience a display of fireworks second only to Sydney’s New Year’s Eve with over one hour of firework demonstrations! Highlights include amusement rides, market stalls, food, face painting, air brush tattoos, fairy floss, live music and more. The skies fill with every firework at dark. The crackers get bigger as the night gets longer.

4 – Zero Waste Festival

Run by Zero Waste Revolution, there’ll be stalls, talks and workshops demonstrating practical ways for families to live with zero waste. Be part of the first Australian trial that’ll transform running shoes into park benches, by taking your old runners  – any brand, any size!

3 – Country Rocks the Capital

Country Rocks is hosting ‘The girls of Country Rock’. Check out headlining performances by Aussie country stars Kirsty lee Akers, Hayley Jensen and Tori Darke. 1 – Raiders vs Warriors

You won’t want to miss this – the green machine’s last game of the regular season, with lots happening on and off the field! The Raiders are coming off a thrilling golden point win over the Sharks.
