6 - Braddon Busking Festival

Enjoy a day filled with music and performance in the vibrant streets of Braddon! Visitors to the Festival will vote for their favourite buskers with special ‘voting coins’ - available from participating stores in Braddon on the day. Visitors are also encouraged to tip their favourite buskers with real money! This is the first Canberra festival dedicated to music and other performing buskers, run by local community group - the Braddon Collective.

The 20th Canberra International Challenge has attracted 502 entries from 228 wineries across nine Riesling producing countries. It’s a unique opportunity, with many of the wines unavailable unless you visit the region they come from.

It's a crucial knock out match for the Canberra Vikings, who are hoping for a strong home crowd at Viking Park to cheer them to victory against Fiji in their semi-final! The display will feature high quality bonsai - both traditional exotic plant species and Australian species. There’ll be demonstration sessions, guided tours and Bonsai Basics sessions – covering all things Bonsai!
